After the great international success with his ‘1000 Teddies’ installation this Utrecht based artist once again chose the topic of ‘childhood’ as the central point of his new creations: huge harmless, cuddly monsters that are hugged, dragged and and pulled by small kids- which make you question: who is the bigger monster here?
It is a unique, loving and grotesque monster-human mix type of world that Philipp Jordan presents to the oftentimes amazed contemplator. Once again he proves to us that it is well worth it to never lose the capability of amazement.
